Akkodis is seeking a Designer for a contract with a client in Austin, TX/Sunnyvale, CA. The role involves creating data-driven dashboards and prototypes and working within or building design systems for complex visualization projects.
Rate Range: $53/hour to 54/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Designer job responsibilities include:
- Create analytical dashboards and data visualizations for finance, marketing, and operations projects.
- Design and prototype user interfaces using Sketch and Figma, with a strong preference for Sketch experience.
- Develop clickable prototypes and present case studies that clearly outline the design process from concept to execution.
- Work within existing design systems or build new ones, demonstrating deep understanding of components, symbols, and overrides.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and communicate design decisions effectively in advanced English.
- Take ownership of major design projects, managing them end-to-end with a focus on usability and clarity.
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Sketch and Figma, with a strong portfolio of data visualization projects.
- Ability to create clickable prototypes and present at least 3 detailed case studies outlining the full design process.
- Proven experience working within or building design systems, with a clear understanding of components, nested symbols, and overrides.
Pay Details: $53.00 to $54.00 per hour
