ALL ABOUT FOOD & BEVERAGE

The Food & Beverage team enables a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is fresh, in stock, available and accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. They are experts of operations, process and efficiency. This team leads food and food services including replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes for all Food and Beverage areas of the store.

Role Overview

The role of a Starbucks Barista can provide you with:

• Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience building a guest-first culture in Starbucks
• Ability to provide a consistent Starbucks experience for guests by curating handcrafted Starbucks products
• Experience with food quality and freshness management
• Knowledge of state and federal food safety and OSHA guidelines

Typical Responsibilities

No two days are ever the same, but a typical day includes:

• Delivering an exceptional guest experience, connecting with guests to deliver quality handcrafted beverages and food, prioritizing guest needs
• Upholding and maintaining Food and Beverage Standards, Starbucks brand standards, and food safety standards
• Executing food and beverage processes such as deliveries, replenishment, stocking, zoning, and quality checks
• Supporting digital order fulfillment and maintaining an inviting environment for guests
• Engaging with guests, understanding their needs, and providing knowledgeable assistance
• Following all safety, cleanliness, and food handling procedures
• Participating in all required Starbucks trainings and promoting a culture of safety and ethical conduct
