Inventory Clerk Specialists
We are hiring TWO Inventory Clerk Specialists on a direct hire basis at a growing company located just north of Freeport. The Inventory Clerk Specialists will work in conjunction with all departments, including the scheduling department, production, and supply chain to enhance the overall quality and business system. It is the responsibility of the Inventory Clerk Specialists to ensure materials are located and accounted for correctly in the company's system. It is also their responsibility to make changes to any material handling processes they are involved in when needed. Hours: 6am to 2:30 or 3pm, M-F; rotating 8-hour shifts every other weekend Pay: $16-$18/hour Benefits: Medical, vision, dental, flex spending, basic lift and accidental death & dismemberment insurance, short-and-long-term disability, EAP and 401(k). Inventory Clerk Specialists Responsibilities:
Complete monthly, weekly, and daily lists of inventory cycle counts, and conduct cycle counts in offices and warehouses Assist all departments in the locating of requested items Assist in any total physical inventory process Be proficient in the use of the ROSS ERP system and any devices used in conjunction with the system Exchange/return expired products Lead inventory initiatives, process improvement, and streamline inventory processes Utilize reports to monitor proper inventory levels and adjust accordingly Assist in training of inventory specialists on ROSS ERP and hand scanners Monitor system for errors Monitor all expired products Direct and advise the daily activities of a team of inventory associates Ensure that new and experienced employees perform duties with a high degree of safety, service and quality Ensure workflow for the facility meets performance expectations and that all raw materials are available for production Provide basic feedback to the team on performance. Know when to escalate issues to your manager for assistance Inventory Clerk Specialists Requirements:
