Citi Trends is seeking a dedicated Store Sales Associate to join our team at one of the largest chains in the value-priced urban apparel industry. We're growing, so if you've ever wanted a chance to lead the way, this is it.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Processing freight Assisting with price changes and markdowns Balancing the register according to company policy Calling out prices for customers during transactions Bags merchandise efficiently upon transaction completion Handling cash, checks, and credit cards correctly per company policy Obtaining management approval for returns, voids, and checks Performing maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned Providing proper customer service, including greeting customers, abiding by fitting room policies, ringing transactions promptly, thanking customers, and inviting them to return Following all safety procedures Maintaining a professional, neat appearance, including wearing a name tag Assisting management with merchandising and sales floor stock levels Supporting management with tasks as requested Explaining exchange and refund policies to customers after transactions Assisting Store Manager with Loss Prevention procedures, including preventing shoplifting and cash losses, reporting theft or dishonesty incidents, and following operational policies Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages Seniority level
