Just look up. Are you ready to go beyond? The Parts Inventory Specialist will be responsible for managing and organizing the inventory of non-product parts in the company's maintenance parts crib. This role involves working hand to hand with MROs, cycle counting, retrieving parts for maintenance personnel, receiving, and putting up parts, and maintaining accurate records. The specialist will also serve as the gatekeeper for the non-product parts crib, ensuring the proper handling and tracking of all parts during the high traffic shifts. Key Responsibilities
Perform regular cycle counts of non-product parts to ensure inventory accuracy. Retrieve requested parts for maintenance personnel in a timely manner. Receive parts deliveries, verify accuracy, and put parts into appropriate storage locations. Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all transactions, including part retrievals and receipts. Ensure that parts are stored in a clean, organized, and safe manner. Manage inventory levels and notify appropriate personnel when reordering is necessary. Serve as the gatekeeper for the non-product parts crib, ensuring that only authorized personnel have access, and that inventory is well-controlled. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the parts crib. Collaborate with maintenance and procurement teams to address inventory needs. Qualifications You Must Have
HS Diploma or GED One year or more of related experience in manufacturing or production Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management software Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Good communication skills and the ability to work with various departments U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
