Join Pds Tech Commercial As A Senior Aircraft Technician
Pds Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced Aircraft Technician Sr. to support one of the most respected names in the aerospace industry. In this vital role, you'll perform complex maintenance and modifications on mid- to large-size aircraft, ensuring every system and structure meets the highest standards of performance, safety, and compliance. As a Senior Technician, your work directly impacts flight readiness and passenger safetyyour expertise keeps aircraft in the skies and operations running smoothly. What You'll Do Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft mechanical systems. Independently execute removal, repair, installation, and testing of airframes, landing gear, engine components, and electrical/control systems. Provide work direction to technicians and uphold high standards of quality by leading through example. Act as Mechanical Team Lead (MTL) when required, assuming leadership duties and coordinating with inspection teams. Ensure documentation, inspections, and work order processes are compliant with FAA and internal requirements. Train new employees on technical manuals, component maintenance, and safety procedures. Operate ground support equipment and assist with aircraft movement and flight test preparations. Maintain clean, safe, and organized workspaces aligned with 6S and Lean practices. Qualifications Required: High School Diploma or GED Minimum 4 years of aviation maintenance experience (3 years must be on mid/large-size aircraft) FAA Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic Certificate Valid Driver's License Working knowledge of FAA regulations, technical manuals, and maintenance documentation Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Must be available to work any assigned shift Preferred: Corporate aircraft maintenance experience Experience acting in a leadership capacity or providing work direction Familiarity with computerized maintenance programs (CMP) and Lean/Continuous Improvement practices Why Join Us?
