Wound Ostomy Per Diem Day

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Wound Ostomy Nurse to join our team at Providence Portland Medical Center. As a per diem part-time position, you will work during weekdays on a day shift, providing expert care to patients with acute and chronic wounds, ostomies, and other related skin injuries. About the Role: This position serves as a clinical resource and consultant for the acute and rehabilitative care of patients with selected disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and integumentary systems. You will provide inpatient and outpatient clinical services throughout the hospital, including the Emergency Department and Wound/Ostomy Care Clinic. As a wound ostomy nurse, you will be responsible for direct patient care, clinical consultation, education, research, and administration. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Oregon Registered Nurse License National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Current certification in wound ostomy nursing, dual specialty (CWON) by the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing Certification Board; or obtain CWON certification within 12 months of hire 2 years recent acute care nursing experience, preferably including wound and ostomy care Why Choose Us?
