Our client is seeking a skilled Digital Marketing Manager to develop and manage long-term strategies that drive membership growth, event attendance, professional development participation, and advocacy engagement. The role also includes planning paid media campaigns, creating engaging digital content, and leveraging analytics to optimize performance. This position requires expertise in digital marketing tools, analytics, and association management systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing Operations to develop and manage digital marketing strategies supporting membership, events, and advocacy initiatives.
  • Plan and execute paid media advertising campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, etc.), including segmentation, A/B testing, and automation workflows to drive traffic, conversions, and brand awareness.
  • Partner with the Director of Creative Services and VP of Web Strategies to develop engaging digital creative content guiding customers from awareness through conversion (ads, web pop-ups, landing pages).
  • Monitor and report on KPIs across all digital platforms using tools such as Google Analytics, HubSpot, and social media platforms.
  • Provide ongoing recommendations for campaign strategies, tactics, and optimizations to the marketing team.
  • Stay informed on digital trends and best practices in the association and nonprofit space.
  • Support persona development and drip email campaigns for inbound marketing in HubSpot.
  • Assist in integrating digital marketing efforts with AMS, LMS, and CRM systems.
  • Potential to grow into a supervisory role for the email marketing coordinator.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably within an association, nonprofit, or membership-based organization.
  • Proven experience leading digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels and platforms.
  • Experience with AMS, CRM, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to develop business documents such as digital marketing plans, creative briefs, and campaign performance reports.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to strategy and optimization.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency with digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta, and LinkedIn.
  • Familiarity with CRMs such as Wicket and email marketing CMSs like HubSpot.
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics reporting, including custom reports and explorations.
  • Certifications in Google Ads, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive digital design.
  • Knowledge of customer engagement strategies and lifecycle marketing.
