JOB DESCRIPTION

This position spends their time working closely with the Executive team to achieve a variety of objectives. You will be surrounded by a team of human resources professionals to assist you in accomplishing daily tasks, short and long-term goals.

CORE FUNCTION:

·         Strategize to attract and retain talent

·         Organize and track employee training programs

·         Provide coaching to employees on topics including interviewing, hiring, terminations, performance evaluations, safety, and compliance

·         Investigate work place accidents and submit claim reporting to Workers’ Compensation insurance carrier

·         Manage human resources records

·         Provide recommendations for compensation and benefit structures

·         Deliver and maintain medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefit plans to employees

·         Oversee annual 401k audit by communicating and providing complete and accurate documentation to auditors

·         Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to payroll, benefits, and HR policies

·         Provide routine information to accounting team in a timely manner

·         Maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters

·         Work closely with vendors to maintain and enhance self-funded medical plans

·         Manage and process biweekly payroll

QUALIFICATIONS

·         Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in Human Resources Management or related field

·         4+ years of related management experience

·         Knowledge of Federal and State employment laws, including: FMLA, OSHA, ADA, EEO, etc.

·         Knowledge of HR compliance, unemployment, and worker’s compensation

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

·         Driver’s License

PREFERRED

·         HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).

·         UKG and/or Paycom Experience preferred

·         Knowledge of DOT Compliance

·         Bilingual

·         Experience with self-funded health insurance plans
