Your Role: Custom Home Superintendent The Superintendent is responsible for all field operations, including the coordination of subcontractors’ work. Responsible for all field activities associated with the project, including ultimate responsibility for implementation of Safety for the job site, supervision of all field construction work by subcontractors and self-performed work. Shares responsibility with the project manager for developing the project budget, actively participating in the preconstruction phase, and ensuring that the project is built on time, within budget, and according to company policies and procedures. Manages and mentors assistant superintendents and other field personnel.

Key Responsibilities Field Leadership: Manage all daily site operations including supervision of subcontractors, coordination of construction activities, enforcement of safety protocols, and execution of the project schedule. Schedule Management: Develop and maintain detailed look-ahead schedules; drive progress to meet critical milestones and proactively resolve conflicts and delays. Quality Assurance: Ensure all work is performed to high standards, in accordance with plans, specifications, building codes, and owner requirements. Safety Oversight: Enforce site safety policies and maintain compliance with OSHA and company standards; conduct regular safety meetings and inspections. Team Coordination: Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, architects, consultants, and client representatives to maintain alignment and ensure clear communication. Inspections & Reporting: Coordinate with local authorities for inspections and approvals; maintain daily logs, safety documentation, and progress reports.

Minimum Requirements Minimum 8+ years of experience in commercial construction field leadership. With proven experience in adaptive reuse projects being desirable but not essential. High School Diploma or equivalent. Strong understanding of all elements of commercial construction including structural, MEP, and architectural coordination in retrofit or hybrid new/old environments. Ability to read and interpret complex drawings, submittals, and technical documents. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Proven experience with project manager software
