$85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Job description: Note : This position requires employees to work on a hybrid schedule, with four days per week on-site in either the Miami or Tampa office (subject to change after the first 90 days). Note:
The qualified candidate for this position must have at least 2 years of bankruptcy or litigation docketing experience using a rules-based docketing software. Job Description Manage litigation and bankruptcy docketing and calendaring for attorneys and paralegals across multiple practice groups Calculate and calendar critical deadlines using rules-based docketing software (Compulaw strongly preferred) Review pleadings, motions, and court documents for date-sensitive information and ensure timely notifications Research and gather case, party, and court information through databases such as PACER, Westlaw, and CourtDrive Provide guidance on local, state, and federal court rules, filing procedures, and deadlines Create and distribute docket reports and apply quality control measures for accuracy and risk management Collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, and staff in weekly team meetings and ongoing projects Support miscellaneous docketing and research assignments as needed Qualifications 2+ years of experience in litigation or bankruptcy docketing with rules-based docketing software (Compulaw preferred) Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal court rules and filing procedures Familiarity with litigation and bankruptcy case phases, from initiation through appeal Bachelors degree preferred; equivalent experience considered Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Excellent organizational skills, detail orientation, and ability to manage multiple deadlines under pressure Strong verbal and written communication skills with attorneys, staff, and court personnel Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a team environment Why This Is a Great Opportunity Join a highly reputable law firm with strong teams in litigation, bankruptcy, and reorganization Work in a collaborative environment with ongoing professional growth opportunities Hybrid work schedule after an initial 90-day period Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package JPC-404 Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance
