Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist
Job Details:
• Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, occasionally 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Opportunity for 4-10 hour shifts if desired (not required)
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Float requirement between two clinical sites in Wilmington, NC coastal region (primary site and sister site 30 minutes away)
• No call requirements or weekend coverage
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT T
• Required skills: Adult acute care, CT simulation, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, IMRT, external beam therapy, ARIA system, Varian equipment
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Must be comfortable floating between affiliated locations
• Always paired with at least one other therapist
• Will not be expected to cut blocks, perform CT sims alone, or perform dose calculations
• Storm team/hurricane team assignment required
• Cannot work more than 5 consecutive days or 60 hours per week
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed with auto approval
