Job Summary In this role, you will oversee and manage the development and performance of the field sales specialist for the Vascular Insertion team nationally. You will manage and develop this Acute Vascular Insertion specialty team and provide leadership towards the achievement of maximum sales growth in line with company vision and values.Job Description MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES --Oversee and manage the performance of the Acute Vascular Insertion team. --Oversee IDN Strategy including, but not limited to, the following: Manage sales strategy in partnership with IDN Directors Manage strategy and collaboration with the Vascular Insertion Sales Specialists within the IDNs Work in conjunction with field sales teams to ensure continued focus and growth in this segment within the IDNs --Partner with the Corporate Account team to build out and present on RFPs and capabilities presentations; operate as high-level expert on products. --Partner with Sales VP to define and execute the sales strategy. Engage with other sales teams to refine strategy and re-build with feedback. Conduct high-level presentations (audience of C-suite) and contribute to the RFP as the expert. --Develop and maintain spotlight key customer relationships. --Accountable for the marketing plan implementation – either through direct development or internal partnership. --Collaborate with senior management on the training development and structure of the field sales support programs. Management responsibilities include: Strategic, tactical and operational planning (12 + months) for the function or department Direct budgetary responsibility for one or more departments, functions or major projects/programs Interpret and execute policies for departments/projects; develop, recommend and implement new policies or modifications to existing policies Hiring staff, recommending pay increases, performing performance reviews, training and development of staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS --Education: Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a business or clinical field. --Certification / Licensure: N/A --Work Experience: At least 7 years of sales and/or business development experience. Preference to 4 years of experience directly managing people including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing people as they work. -- Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: Experience collaborating with both internal resources and external resources to develop strategies that meet department goals within budget and established timelines. Experience developing and implementing training programs for Director-level individual contributors. Experience presenting to and coordinating senior level meetings/trainings, including preparation of agendas, documenting meeting minutes, sending out documents to attendees. Ability to present overall capabilities to C-suite level audiences. Ability to manage high-level relationships, with internal and external stakeholders. Experience developing and operationalizing strategy translating to increased sales results. Experience selling at the highest level within the hospital system; ability to concisely articulate the value proposition. The anticipated salary range for this position: $132,600.00 - $199,160.00 AnnualThe actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
