Job Description Salary: $16.22 - $18.68 - $21.14 LITTLE RIVER BAND OF OTTAWA INDIANS POSITION VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Position: Warehouse Assistant Food Distribution Dept. (1) FT - Regular
Summary: The position is responsible for providing access to the departments services to the membership through the processing of program applications, answering questions, and ensuring an efficient operation from intake to completion.
Employment Qualifications: Minimum Necessary Qualifications A High School Diploma or GED; and A work experience of one (1) or more years in a warehouse or receiving department; and The technical skills of a beginner to intermediate to advanced user of MS Office software, computers, and office equipment; and Must have a valid Driver License, maintained throughout employment and be insurable under the Tribes auto insurance policy.
Duties and Responsibilities Assist members in accessing services of department, providing referrals to other tribal programs or outside agencies as necessary. Deliver monthly food orders to quailed participants households using the departments delivery van. Issues food commodities on a weekly, appointment-based schedule. Records issuance and received commodities into Automated Inventory System (AIS). Maintains inventory and reports to USDA when required; stocks shelves and rotates stock as needed. Operates power truck (forklift) for loading and unloading of commodities. Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of work and complies with all applicable tribal, federal, or state laws andprocedures. All other

related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Physical Demands Frequent sitting, walking, reaching, bending, kneeling, or stretching is to be expected. The nature of the work also involves manual dexterity to operate office equipment and while keyboarding. An employee will need normal or corrected to normal range of sight and hearing and will carry work related materials up to fifty (50) pounds.

Pay Grade: NE4 Hiring Range: $16.22 $18.68-$21.14 Commensurate with Verified Qualifications. Status: Non-Exempt/Hourly/Bi-weekly pay Background Check: Extensive
