SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTION: The Technical Program Manager is responsible for full ownership of customer orders from the moment a Purchase Order (PO) is received until the order is shipped. This role manages all aspects of the program, including internal coordination, external customer and supplier communication, project tracking, and issue resolution. The Program Manager ensures that all deliverables meet quality, cost, and schedule requirements, and acts as the central point of contact for all stakeholders throughout the order lifecycle. The role reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), supporting both operational excellence and revenue growth. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Function Name Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) / Material readiness review (MRR) initiatives from the time of quote to release to production, ensuring smooth transitions from design to manufacturing. Take complete ownership of PCB and PCBA orders from PO receipt through shipment, and managing the project across the life cycle (order entry, scheduling, production tracking, and delivery.) Serve as the primary liaison for all internal teams (engineering, production, quality, supply chain) and external stakeholders (customers, vendors, partners), ensuring clear, timely, and accurate communication throughout the order lifecycle. Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed dashboards, KPIs, and status reports for management. Monitor key performance metrics (quality, cost, delivery) and update status regularly. Provide regular updates to customers regarding order status, changes, and shipment schedules. Address customer inquiries and feedback promptly and professionally. Proactively identify risks, challenges, and gaps; coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and escalate as needed to ensure on-time delivery and zero-defect outcomes. Review contracts, negotiate terms, and ensure all requirements are met for product builds. Oversee engineering change orders (ECOs) related to the project and ensure proper documentation and implementation.
QUALIFICATIONS - KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS- EXPERIENCE: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities suggested.
Bachelor’s degree in technical field such as Engineering, Business Management, or related field required. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in program/project management within contract manufacturing, PCB, or PCBA environments. Experience in multiple functional areas (engineering, quality, operations, supply chain, project/program management) preferred. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, project tracking tools, and supply chain management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to manage communications across diverse teams and external partners. Proven ability to solve practical problems, manage multiple priorities, and make sound business decisions under pressure. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Ability to support a 24/7 global business operation as required. Available for travel up to 10% of the time, including day, overnight, and internationally, as required.
PREFERRED SKILLS: CEPM or PMP Certification strongly preferred. Experience with military, aerospace, or Department of Defense programs and contracts is a plus.
