Performs work as outlined on work order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards. Reads and interprets blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications. Measures, cuts, bends, and shapes metal materials using hand tools, power tools, and machinery Operates fabricating equipment such as shears, rollers, flame cutters, and drill presses Welds or solder metal components using MIG, TIG, or arc welding techniques Assembles metal structures and ensures proper alignment and fit. Performs quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications Documents all work performed. Maintains tools and equipment and follows safety protocols. Collaborates with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Candidates have the following:
Technical training or certification in welding or fabrication preferred. Proven experience in metal fabrication or a related field Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Proficiency with fabrication tools and welding equipment Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards Must have own set of tools. Basic computer skills
