SAIC is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support an IT Service Management effort for USTRANSCOM located at Scott Air Force Base (AFB) in Illinois. The USTC Managed Information Technology Services (MITS) contract is intended to provide strategic, technical, and program management guidance and support services to facilitate the operations and modernization of the combatant command's infrastructure, systems, and applications. This support will be provided to the USTC Command, Control, Communications & Cyber Systems Directorate (TCJ6).
The successful candidate shall, in support of the Service Design, synchronize efforts with the IT Service Portfolio Manager and produce customer-based additional information for each defined service.
RESPONSIBILITES:
Provide a consistent approach to designing services
Deliver services that are effective and efficient IT and mission solutions through the coordination of all design activities
Design services that can be easily and efficiently developed
Coordinate with appropriate stakeholders when a new or changed service is to be deployed to ensure workflows are developed in the Service Request System
Documents workflows with tasks prior to service implementation
Achieving an overall improvement in the quality of IT service within the imposed design constraints by reducing rework once the services have been transitioned into the live production environment
Facilitating the completion of a Service Design Package for all new and existing services.
The contractor shall assist the Government IT Service Portfolio Manager in documenting and maintaining templates in support of Service Design Coordination
The contractor shall schedule and document all required meetings (e.g., Requirements Working Group, Technical Review Board, and Design Planning meetings) in support of Service Design Coordination
This position is for Monday through Friday, normal business hours.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
BA/BS
4+ years of experience
DoD Secret clearance
ITIL 4 Foundations certification
Experience with formal system development methodologies including Agile
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Experience with business process modeling
Experience eliciting and documenting software requirements in the form of use cases and user stories
Experience working with ServiceNow low-code/no-code capabilities and standards
Experience working with Microsoft SharePoint
Experience in business analysis activities including:
SW/HW requirements management and analysis
SW/HW requirements elicitation
SW/HW solutions analysis
SW/HW requirements planning
Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
MA/MS
10+ years of experience
DoD TS/SCI clearance
ITIL 4 Managing Professional certification
4+ years of experience with ServiceNow Service Catalog administration
Completion of relevant ServiceNow training, accreditations, and certifications
Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
