Job Description Salary: $18-20/hour DOE The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for the warehouse operations of assigned Hatzel & Buehler warehouses by ensuring tools and parts designated at the warehouse are available for the electrical installation projects for electricians in the field as needed. This position will fulfill activities such as storing materials, picking, packing, and delivery/pickup. The Warehouse Assistant will load and unload outgoing and incoming delivery vehicles, select products from the warehouse, load and secure goods to pallets, move inventory to delivery area, and load equipment. Attention to detail is important to safely unload stock from delivery vehicles, and transport to and store in designated warehouse areas.

Key Responsibilities: Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store). Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (wrap, pack, label, load and deliver). Maintain clean and organized warehouse space, storing inventory in an accessible and organized manner. Inspecting inventory for damage and faults. Loading and unloading trucks and trailers, operating forklift and pallet jacks to manage materials. Operate and demonstrate use of specialized warehouse and field equipment as necessary; assure proper and routine maintenance and servicing of tools, warehouse vehicles and equipment.

Receive, store, issue and return warehouse stock and supplies. Observe health and safety regulations; maintain warehouse in a clean, safe, and orderly condition. Grounds and building maintenance, including but not limited to weed eating, snow removal, and waste management.

Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required. Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Medical DOT card or willing to obtain one. Forklift certification required.

Qualifications: Knowledge of warehouse operations. Experience in electrical industry (preferred). Knowledge of operating inventory moving tools. Ability to repair and perform maintenance on small tools. Understands safety regulations and laws for safe working conditions. Ability to drive a truck and trailer, plated under 26,000lbs.

Lift up to 50 lbs. Carry up to 50 lbs. Push/pull.

Exposure to loud noises from vehicles and heavy machinery.
