ABOUT NCEES The National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing professional licensure for engineers and surveyors. NCEES staff members develop, administer, and score the examinations used for engineering and surveying licensure in the United States. We also promote uniformity of the U.S. licensure processes through services for our member licensing boards and licensees. We are proud to promote excellence in all we do.

ABOUT OUR POSITION We are looking for a motivated, engaged, committed, and experienced administrative assistant. This position will provide administrative support to our facilities and human resources departments by serving as the liaison between NCEES and the property management group; responding to employee facilities support tickets; reviewing and tracking scheduled inspections; tracking department budgets; serving on the NCEES safety team lead and coordinating safety training; serving as backup to the front desk personnel for breaks and scheduled absences; and providing additional support to Human Resources to achieve the overall objectives of the department.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR You’ll need to have: An associate’s degree Five years or more of related experience Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Effective written and verbal communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Aptitude for learning new software
