is working with one of the largest Behavioral Healthcare Groups in the area! We are looking to hire a board-certified or board-eligible FT Psychiatrist. Iredell Davis Behavioral Health has 42 inpatient psychiatric beds (3 adult units) and provides a much-needed service throughout North Carolina and the country. In 2022, 68 counties in North Carolina admitted patients to Davis for behavioral health needs. Responsibilities: Provide high-quality psychiatric care to adult and geriatric inpatients Collaborate closely with a team of skilled mid-level providers Conduct evaluations, medication management, and treatment planning Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and care plans Ensure documentation and care standards are maintained Requirements: Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry Valid medical license in the state of North Carolina Experience in inpatient psychiatry preferred, especially in adult and geriatric care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a supportive, collaborative environment Compensation & Benefits Competitive Salary & Incentives including performance-based incentives.
