Job Description Description The Program Manager at Nuvitek is a dynamic leader responsible for overseeing a suite of related low-code technology solutions within the federal government contracting space. Reporting to the Portfolio Manager, this role focuses on managing the successful delivery of programs that align with client missions, foster innovation, and drive measurable value.

The Program Manager is the central point of coordination between government stakeholders, project teams, and internal leadership, ensuring all program components work seamlessly to achieve strategic goals. This position combines strategic planning, team leadership, and operational oversight to deliver high-quality, compliant solutions on time and within budget. Additionally, the Program Manager champions process improvements and innovation, leveraging cutting-edge low-code platforms to address evolving client needs.

Lead program planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with client objectives and Nuvitek’s organizational goals. Manage and mentor project managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Build and maintain strong relationships with government stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and program advocate. Monitor program budgets, performance metrics, and risks, implementing strategies to optimize outcomes and address challenges. Drive process standardization and innovation, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and impactful solutions across the program.

Responsibilities

Program Oversight and Alignment:

Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of a suite of related solutions within the federal government contracting low-code technology space. Align program activities with the client’s mission and objectives, ensuring all projects contribute to the overall strategic goals. Team Leadership and Coordination:

Manage and mentor project managers within the program, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality delivery. Foster collaboration across teams, ensuring alignment on goals, timelines, and deliverables. Stakeholder Engagement:

Act as the primary point of contact for government stakeholders, building trust and maintaining strong relationships. Gather and understand client needs, ensuring program solutions address those requirements effectively. Program Planning and Execution:

Develop and maintain a program roadmap, identifying key milestones, dependencies, and resource needs. Oversee the delivery of program projects, ensuring they remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with client expectations. Monitor and manage program performance to support strong CPARS and CSAT scores, addressing any risks or challenges that may impact client satisfaction or program success. Financial Management:

Monitor program budgets, forecasting costs, and ensuring financial performance meets targets. Identify opportunities to optimize resources and increase program efficiency without compromising quality. Risk Management and Problem Resolution:

Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the program, ensuring potential issues are addressed proactively. Resolve escalations and complex challenges, working collaboratively with the portfolio manager and project teams to maintain program health. Program Performance Monitoring:

Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate program success and ensure continuous improvement. Conduct regular reviews of program progress, providing updates to the portfolio manager and other stakeholders. Standardization and Process Improvement:

Implement and enforce standardized processes, tools, and methodologies across the program to ensure consistency and efficiency. Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation to enhance program outcomes. Collaboration Practice Teams:

Work with the Practice Technical Lead and Practice Development Lead to ensure the program leverages the right technical resources and best practices. Compliance and Quality Assurance:

Ensure all program activities comply with federal regulations, contract requirements, and industry standards. Oversee quality assurance efforts to ensure deliverables meet or exceed client expectations. Knowledge Sharing and Reporting:

Prepare and deliver program reports and presentations to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and opportunities. Collaborate with the portfolio manager to share insights, project outcomes, and key learnings that can inform portfolio-level strategies and decision-making. Share lessons learned and best practices to support continuous improvement across the organization. Client-Centric Innovation:

Identify opportunities to introduce innovative low-code solutions that address evolving client needs and challenges. Drive initiatives to enhance client satisfaction and program impact through cutting-edge technologies and methodologies

What you will bring:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field 5-8 years of Project or Program Management and related experience with federal government projects Experience with low-code projects Capacity to embrace change and quickly adapt to new situations, changes in direction, and altering priorities Ability to clarify the process, brainstorm solutions, and assist in conflict resolution Experience using agile performance metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement Experience adapting newly formed teams to scrum and leading their journey through the stages of storming, forming, and norming. Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other scrum techniques A love to learn and improve as a leader, always looking to bring something new and helpful to the team. Embodies the agile principles and leads by example Strong knowledge of Scrum theory and agile practices PMP

certification/PRINCE2

certification (or other certifications acknowledged by organizations such as PMI or APM)

It would be great if you also had:

Experience with low-code/no-code platforms such as Appian, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Pega. Experience with Jira, Confluence, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Excel, Power Point. Relevant agile certifications preferred, such as: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)
