Quality Assurance Manager
Location:
Greater Chicago, IL. We’re looking for an experienced
Quality Assurance Manager
to lead our quality strategy and ensure our products meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction. This role will oversee audits, drive continuous improvement, and build a strong culture of quality across all departments. What You’ll Do: Lead and mentor a team of quality professionals
Develop and maintain QA systems, policies, and processes
Oversee internal audits and manage third-party certifications (ISO 9001, IATF 16949)
Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis
Manage APQP for new product launches, including DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Process Flows
Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain to improve efficiency and reduce defects
Strengthen supplier quality performance and resolve quality issues quickly
What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field preferred
5+ years in quality
management/assurance,
including 3+ in leadership
Proven experience with quality systems, regulatory compliance, and certifications
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills (FMEA,
corrective/preventive
actions)
Excellent leadership and communication abilities
5+ years in industrial manufacturing is required Preferred: Six Sigma Green/Black Belt
Experience in automotive, healthcare, or manufacturing
Familiarity with Lean principles and IQMS MRP software
Compensation: Up to $125K based on performance
