HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE (Overview & Key Responsibilities): Our Shipping and Receiving Associate verifies and processes incoming and outgoing shipments according to company procedures. In addition, our Shipping and Receiving Associate also prepares return shipments according to customer specs and assists in loading and unloading trucks. Greet and receive guests at the shipping and receiving bay. Inspect and count incoming and outgoing items to verify information against bills of ladings, packing lists and other records. Record the received or shipped product information on the corresponding receiving or shipping software. Generate shipping and receiving labels for incoming and outgoing items with all relevant information. Schedule domestic and international outbound shipments with freight carriers. Generate and route shipping documents including BOL, commercial invoices, etc. to the appropriate departments. Prepare items for shipping. e.g. UPS, Federal Express, specified courier etc. Load and unload trucks. Move raw materials and finished goods to their designated locations in the warehouse or communicate with Project Managers/Chamber employees for received temperature sensitive samples. Assist Project Managers with samples/over packs on sample storage shelves and designated areas. Assist Operations in packing out samples after testing has been completed. Maintain inventory of shipping and receiving packing materials and useable workspace. Cleaning and organizing warehouse, workspace, samples and packaging materials Other duties as assigned WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications): High School Diploma or equivalent At least one-year previous shipping experience. At least one-year experience driving a forklift. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
