The role ensures the accuracy of financial information, prepares financial statements, and assists in budgetary planning and tax compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and experience with accounting software in a manufacturing setting. Process and reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Financial reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, for senior management. Financial analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for cost reduction and process improvement. Collaborate with the finance team to prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts. Inventory management: Assist with the monthly tracking and reconciliation of physical inventory. Audit and tax compliance: Prepare for and assist with financial audits and tax preparations, ensuring compliance with all financial policies and regulations. Fixed assets: Maintain and reconcile the company's fixed assets and tooling. Utilize and maintain accounting software (e.g., Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Proven experience in accounting, preferably within a manufacturing or similar industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting. Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
