T ekPro is partnered with a modern high-volume CNC shop in the NW Chicago suburbs in their search for CNC Operators! Starting Pay: $22.00-$33.00/hour base pay -- Early 2nd Shift: 2pm-10pm (10% differential) Benefits: Benefits start day 1 of employment!

Position Responsibilities: Must be skilled in operating one or more of Swiss CNC lathe, traditional CNC lathe, CNC mill, grinder, or Wire EDM Our are responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining equipment to fabricate production parts that meet or exceed expectations for product quality and production rates. Additional responsibilities include making adjustments and monitoring assigned equipment to ensure dimensional part integrity, troubleshooting and correcting problems, deburr/buff/sand parts to meet print specifications, inspect parts visually and dimensionally using basic inspection equipment and techniques, and perform preventative machine maintenance as required. Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years CNC operating experience Ability to read, interpret and understand blueprints and experience working with small precision parts to close tolerances required. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills as well as basic knowledge of lean manufacturing. Machines & technologies you'll use: CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC) CNC Lathe (2-4 axis) CNC Swiss Lathe
