We're currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler to support our clients Fragrance Division. This hands-on role is critical to production and packaging operations, ensuring that products are prepared, labeled, and shipped with precision and care. This candidate will assist the production compounder with raw materials including filling transfer containers and replacing raw material drums. Material handler will monitor mixing process and pull quality control samples after material is packaged for shipment. Monday - Friday, Day Shift
Temp-to-Perm What You’ll Do:
Package finished products into appropriate containers following customer specifications. Weigh, seal, and label containers accurately and maintain detailed records. Assist compounders by staging and transferring raw materials. Monitor batch mixing processes and submit samples for quality control testing. Clean and inspect equipment according to GMP and SSOP standards. Rotate warehouse stock, replenish compounding supplies, and organize materials in the hot room. Cross-train as a backup for the equipment cleaning team. Adhere to all safety and quality protocols including GMP, HACCP, SQF, ISO 9001:2015, and EFfCI. Attend mandatory food safety training and annual competency assessments.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED required Forklift certification required Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is a plus Skills & Abilities
Basic math skills with the ability to convert units (metric/imperial) Ability to read and follow instructions, labels, and safety data sheets in English Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs and stand, bend, and walk for extended periods
