What Youll Do As a Project Sales Representative Fire Systems, youll specialize in selling fire alarm and life safety projects to commercial clients. Youll design compliant, customized solutions that meet regulatory standards and protect what matters most. Key Responsibilities: Identify and engage new clients through networking, referrals, cold calls, and industry events. Conduct site evaluations to assess fire protection needs and design compliant system solutions. Deliver professional presentations and proposals to business decision-makers. Manage the full sales process, from lead generation to project close. Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers to generate future opportunities. Partner with operations teams for accurate project scoping and seamless handoffs. Stay informed about NFPA codes, fire safety regulations, and product advancements. Maintain accurate CRM records of sales activity, opportunities, and follow-ups. What Were Looking For We are seeking industry-experienced sales professionals who understand the technical and regulatory requirements of fire alarm systems and can confidently guide clients through complex projects. Qualifications: 3+ years of proven sales experience in fire alarm or life safety systems (required). Strong knowledge of NFPA codes, fire alarm systems, and compliance requirements. Ability to read construction plans and specifications preferred. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software. Valid drivers license and clean driving record required. Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred. Performance Metrics: Your success will be measured by your ability to consistently meet or exceed key metrics: Regular follow-up appointments to build relationships and close deals. Annual project quota: Drive and motivation to hit assigned yearly quota. Key Traits for Success: Deep understanding of fire safety regulations and compliance needs. Confidence in educating clients and designing technical solutions. Strong relationship builder with a consultative sales approach. Highly organized, driven, and accountable for results.
