We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Vac Truck Operator to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various types of trucks and trailers, including but not limited to dump trucks, tankers, and heavy haul vehicles. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently while adhering to safety regulations and company policies. Vac Truck Operator

to join our underground utility construction team. This role involves operating vacuum trucks to perform pipeline cleaning, hydro excavation, and debris removal in support of rehabilitation projects including slip lining, drainage installation, and canal & lake bank restoration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vac truck operations, be comfortable working in field conditions, and possess a Class A CDL. Overnight travel is required from Sunday to Friday. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate vacuum trucks for hydro excavation, debris removal, and pipeline cleaning. Perform daily vehicle inspections (pre-trip and post-trip) and routine maintenance checks. Assist with underground utility construction tasks on-site. Operate other small tools and equipment (e.g., pumps, gas saws, compactors, backhoes, bobcats). Properly load and unload equipment and materials at job sites. Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety standards. Maintain detailed logs of work performed, mileage, fuel, and equipment usage. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and crew members. Requirements: Valid CDL Class A Driver’s License (required). 3–5 years of experience in commercial driving and vac truck operation. Underground utility construction experience required. Mechanical aptitude to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment. Ability to follow safety protocols and work independently or as part of a crew. Strong communication skills and professional work ethic. Willingness to travel and stay overnight (Sunday–Friday).
