Job Description We’re seeking a skilled and experienced paralegal to support our growing legal team. The ideal candidate for this position will use their work experience and organizational skills to prepare and maintain legal documents, file motions, interview clients, and conduct legal research. $55,000 depending on experience & certifications Responsibilities:
Draft subpoenas and coordinate with process servers Organize our case filing systems to ensure all documents are properly sorted and easy to locate, and other administrative duties as needed Draft legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence such as interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, complaints, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavits under the guidance of a lawyer Gather information about legal issues from the client in interviews Aid lawyers in trial preparation by preparing and organizing exhibits, organizing and coordinating witnesses, conducting research on legal articles, and assisting with client meetings and filing motions Qualifications:
Candidates must have completed an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor’s degree preferred Must have great time-management skills, and organizational skills Completion of a nationally-accredited paralegal program strongly preferred Must have strong interpersonal skills and talent for writing and grammar At least 3 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting About Company What We Offer: We are a boutique family law firm offering clients the highest quality of legal services.
