StreamLinx is the maker of SnapCount, the mobile and cloud-based platform that accelerates the adoption of energy efficiency and clean technologies in commercial and industrial buildings. The energy retrofit boom you've heard so much about? It's real, and the technology that supports it originates right here with our hundreds of customers across North America.

Our customers include energy service companies, retrofit companies, professional engineering firms, clean power entities, electrical distributors and manufacturers that are determined to transform their business operations and accelerate their growth. They all share the same objective of reducing the energy footprint in facilities, and our software speeds that adoption like none other.

Which brings us to you. We're looking for a Business Development Representative to be the strategic front-line of our sales engine. As a BDR you'll execute the critical foundation of our growthidentifying, qualifying, and nurturing the relationships that fuel our mission. You'll work directly with our sales executives to build a robust pipeline while developing the skills that position you for advancement to Account Executive within 18-24 months.

Performance Expectations Within the first four weeks: Master the fundamentals: Partner with sales and marketing teams to absorb energy industry knowledge, understand our ecosystem of players, and refine messaging that resonates with prospects Build your toolkit: Learn our sales processes and master our digital infrastructure including Salesforce CRM, HubSpot, Lead Forensics, and Office 365 suite Establish your research foundation: Gather intelligence on customers, prospects, and marketplace dynamics, organizing insights in Salesforce for maximum team impact Launch relationship-building activities: Begin prospecting and qualifying leads through strategic outreach via calls, emails, and LinkedIn engagement, focusing on understanding prospect needs and aligning them with our solutions Create accountability systems: Implement and maintain tracking and reporting processes to maintain accurate interaction records and provide actionable insights for optimizing outreach effectiveness Support sales operations: Collaborate with the sales team to develop follow-up materials, assist with contract documentation, and maintain CRM data accuracy to ensure seamless customer onboarding

Within the first 90 days: Own the lead lifecycle: Manage inbound marketing-qualified leads while generating new outbound opportunities across your North American territory Hit your stride on metrics: Consistently deliver Sales Qualified Leads that meet our quality standards and support pipeline goals Perfect the handoff: Collaborate seamlessly with Sales Executives to transition qualified opportunities, contributing directly to closing success Expand your reach: Nurture early-stage opportunities through strategic cold outreach, penetrating existing customer organizations while breaking into new target accounts Contribute strategic insights: Share market intelligence with marketing team to suggest relevant blog topics and content ideas based on prospect conversations and industry trends Demonstrate impact: Show measurable contribution to pipeline development and lead quality metrics

Year One and Beyond: Become an industry presence: Attend 2-3 key industry conferences annually to network with prospects and strengthen our market position Evolve your expertise: Take on increasingly complex sales activities, preparing for Account Executive responsibilities Drive innovation: Identify process improvements and contribute strategic insights based on market feedback and prospect interactions Prepare for promotion: Develop the skills, relationships, and track record that position you for Account Executive advancement within 18-24 months

What It Takes to Succeed Experience: 1-3 years as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar role with demonstrated success in supporting sales team quota achievement. Technical proficiency: Experience with Salesforce (or similar CRM), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, and AI-powered productivity tools. Lead Forensics experience is a plus. Industry advantage: Experience in energy efficiency, lighting, construction, or related B2B technology sectors is highly valued. Core competencies: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, natural curiosity, relationship-building aptitude, systematic approach to process optimization, and strong attention to detail for supporting sales operations. Success mindset: Proven ability to analyze complex problems, envision solutions, and execute strategies that deliver measurable results for sales teams.
