has issued a request for a

Project Manager

to manage their Provider Enrollment and Management System (PEMS) Plus Credentialing project which is used to enroll providers into Medicaid. Candidates must have at least 7 years of experience managing Medicaid integration projects and hold one or more PM certifications. This is a 4 month project expected to be completed by the end of February 2026. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Coordinate with PEMS Sprint Teams, Provider Services, department management, and vendors to align efforts, communicate project status, issues, and risks. Develop, maintain, and monitor integrated project plans and timelines, ensuring tasks, schedules, and dependencies are accurately tracked and updated. Identify and design mitigation strategies for project risks and difficulties and lead efficient meetings with documented decisions to support informed project execution. Minimum Candidate Characteristics: 8+ years of IT PM experience 7+ Experience managing Medicaid integration projects Medicaid Enterprise Systems, Medicaid Management Information Systems Medicaid business operations PMP, CAPM Exceptional Candidate Characteristics: Experience with one or more HHS agency Experience with Texas Medicaid Experience with provider enrollment systems Scrum Master certification
