Our client, a busy production facility, is seeking an experienced
Operations Manager
to lead plant operations, coordinate teams, and ensure the smooth, efficient, and compliant operation of manufacturing processes. This hands-on role involves overseeing production, quality, logistics, and staff development while driving continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Direct all day-to-day plant functions, including production, quality control, safety, and maintenance
Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of supervisors, technicians, and operators
Maintain operational compliance with industry safety, quality, and regulatory standards
Improve processes, SOPs, and training to support growth and efficiency
Plan production schedules and coordinate raw material supply in alignment with operational goals
Track performance metrics and lead targeted improvement initiatives
Manage budgets, oversee equipment care, and guide capital project planning
Qualifications 5+ years in plant or manufacturing management, preferably in a regulated production setting
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage both people and processes
Familiarity with compliance frameworks and operational best practices
Experience in lean manufacturing or Six Sigma preferred
Proficient in ERP systems and operational reporting tools
Position Structure Full time hire
On-site only, no remote flexibility
