Currently hiring for a Machinist/CNC Programmer in Charlotte. NC. As a Machinist/CNC Programmer your primary responsibilities are to operate, program, and maintain advanced CNC equipment—including an Okuma lathe with live tooling and dual spindles, as well as an Okuma vertical mill equipped with a 4th axis trunnion table. Pay is $27- $30 based on skill set and experience. If you have 3+ years experience as a Machinist/CNC Programmer apply now! Machinist/CNC Programmer Responsibilities: Set up, program, and operate Okuma CNC lathes and mills Develop CAM programs using SolidWorks CAM, Delcam, CamWorks, or similar software Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions Inspect finished parts with precision measurement tools to ensure quality standards Perform routine maintenance and adjustments to optimize machine performance Keep accurate records of work performed and production data Supervise and mentor machine operators to promote efficient and accurate manufacturing Assist with assembly and fabrication tasks as needed Uphold all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace Machinist/CNC Programmer Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining is a plus 3 years+ of CAM programming experience 3+ years of CNC machining experience, preferably with Okuma equipment Skilled in using measurement tools like calipers and micrometers Experience with CNC routers and related machinery is a plus Forklift experience a plus Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks Benefits: Weekly pay Paid time off Referral program Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance 401(k)
