As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment at a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help deter unwanted activity, and providing outstanding customer service and communication to everyone you encounter. This position requires you to be armed and to operate a vehicle as part of your daily duties. What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor for and report any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns within the location. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and/or incidents. Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or other personnel as required. Document and report all security-related incidents and/or activities according to Allied Universal protocols. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age. Must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by state and/or local regulations. A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
