Progressive, dynamic, and growing heathcare-focused architectural and engineering firm located in Southeast Charlotte seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer for our corporate headquarters.
Requirements: BSME or equivalent accredited professional degree Registered Professional Engineer Licensed in NC and SC or ability to obtain such with 60 days Drivers License Ability to travel occasionally Physical ability to navigate project construction sites 10 years minimum design and construction administration experience with a minimum of 7 years clinical healthcare and central plant design experience
Responsibilities (upon completion of training and transition): Mechanical Engineering o Steam systems generation and distribution design o Chilled Water systems generation and distribution design o HVAC systems design o Equipment selection and oversight o Medical Gas systems design oversight o Plumbing systems oversight o Performance-based fire protection oversight o Mechanical, plumbing, and performance-based fire protection specification preparation o Submittal and Request for Information reviews o Construction site visits and commissioning o Quality assurance reviews
Project Management
Firm Leadership o Participation in strategic planning and firm vision development o Recruiting and Transition planning
