Dean's Professional Services is now hiring a qualified, Floor Finisher to work for a Hospital Facility in Asheville, NC. We are on a mission to create care that's more convenient and professional. The Floor Finisher is responsible for maintaining and caring for all resilient flooring and carpet throughout the hospital. This role also supports Environmental Services by performing general cleaning duties as needed, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Job Responsibilities: Operate floor care equipment including vacuums, burnishers, scrubbers, wet vacs, carpet extractors, and imops. Perform floor care procedures: dust mopping, mopping, stripping, applying finish, and burnishing. Safely handle and apply floor care chemicals and pads; follow PPE and infection control standards. Place appropriate safety signage to prevent hazards. Clean and maintain patient and non-patient areas, including hallways, offices, and restrooms. Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. 1+ years of experience in resilient floor care and maintenance (preferred) Floor Tech Certificate (preferred) Job Details: 8 hour shifts Must be flexible. $17.28/hr + benefits Full benefits - healthcare, dental, vision, 401k program.
