Job Title: Automotive Painter Location: Shelby, NC Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM Pay: $22-24/hour About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Painter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to large truck bodies and components, ensuring durability and an excellent final appearance.
Responsibilities
Prepare truck bodies and components for painting (sanding, masking, priming, and surface cleaning). Mix and match paints to achieve desired colors and finishes. Apply primers, base coats, and clear coats using spray guns and other equipment. Inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality and safety standards. Maintain painting equipment, tools, and the paint booth in clean, safe working condition. Follow all company safety guidelines, including proper use of PPE and handling of hazardous materials. Collaborate with production team members to ensure projects are completed on schedule. Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience as an automotive painter (truck or heavy equipment painting experience preferred). Knowledge of painting techniques, surface prep, and finishing processes. Ability to read and follow work orders and technical instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment. Reliable attendance and ability to work long shifts. Benefits
