ESP is looking for an experienced (5+ years), results-driven, and enthusiastic person to lead and support capture planning and proposal development for our Community Infrastructure business unit. You will join a supportive team of marketing professionals that support ESP’s qualification-based selection (QBS) for municipal, state, and federal agencies. Responsibilities: Proposal Management: Lead the development of complex proposal documents and shortlist presentations from initial kick-off and strategy through document design, development, technical review, and production. Analyze RFP requirements and develop compliant and compelling proposal responses. Collaborate with leadership, management, and technical staff to gather information and develop and refine proposal content in keeping with strategic capture planning. Participate in client meetings and/or debriefs as requested. Capture Planning: Engage fully in advancing capture planning for identified pursuits, including coordinating and facilitating meeting cadence, market and competitor research, and document management. As a critical part of the capture team, the proposal manager works closely with the capture manager to identify and implement a winning strategy. CRM & Data Management: Maintain CRM database for clients, contacts and opportunities throughout the sales pipeline to track and report hit rates and capture rates and BDROI. Manage and update digital content libraries (including CRM and cloud-based resources) for project and staff experience, imagery, and other digital resources. Ideal Qualities: Prior experience in the A/E/C industry is a significant plus, especially experience in municipal and educational infrastructure design and planning Associate or bachelor’s degree (studies in Marketing, Communications, Design, Journalism, English, or similar studies is a great fit) Experience in the Adobe Creative Suite is a MUST, especially InDesign – be prepared to submit portfolio/work samples in original format Experience with CRM software, such as Unanet/Cosential (preferred) or Deltek Vision Open to fulltime remote work for the right candidate, and/or flexibility in working in an ESP office location ESP’s marketing proposal team is organized by service discipline, giving us the familiarity and knowledge base to efficiently meet deadlines.
