Job Description Description: Job Title: Financial Analyst Job Type: Full-Time Location: Hybrid position based in Charlotte, NC, with a requirement to be in the office three days per week.
SUMMARY:
This role will support decision-making by providing financial insights, conducting data analysis, and preparing reports that enhance operational efficiency and financial performance. The Financial Analyst will play a key role in monitoring revenue cycles, payer reimbursement, and cost trends to ensure the financial health of our organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Duties include but are not limited to: Analyze financial data, revenue cycle performance, and cost structures to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for leadership, including variance analyses and forecasts. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Partner with department leaders to monitor claims processing, denials, collections, and payer reimbursement trends. Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, operational planning, and compliance reporting. Assist in developing and maintaining financial models to project future performance and contract negotiations. Ensure compliance with healthcare finance regulations, payer requirements, and internal policies. Foster a cooperative relationship between staff and other departments by effectively communicating information, responding to requests, building interdepartmental rapport, and participating in team problem-solving methods. Offer recommendations for internal process improvements. Comply with all policies and procedures of the corporate entities. Complete all other duties assigned by corporate management. Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred). Experience:
2–4 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in healthcare or revenue cycle management. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. License/Certification:
MBA preferred. Language Skills:
Excellent verbal and written skills. Computer Skills:
Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook. Advanced computer skills utilizing accounting software and databases. NetSuite and PowerBI experience a plus. Reasoning Ability:
Ability to organize and manage personal workload. Strong problem-solving skills.
