Job Description Description: Retirement Plan Consultant Group (RPCG, LLC). RPCG is a boutique financial services firm that specializes in financial planning for individuals and families.
The successful candidate must have client service experience in the financial services industry.
The Client Service Associate will support the Retail Client Service Model by providing multi-level client support and ensuring client files and electronic data are accurate and up to date.
This position communicates with clients on a frequent basis to assist them in reaching their financial and investment goals and provides other client-relationship management services. The essential duties of the position include the following:
I. CLIENT SERVICES New and Existing Client Business Submission: - Submit, track, and confirm business for investments, insurance, and annuities, etc. - Maintain documentation and drive business through its pipeline - Focus on ways to continue to drive value to Retail Clients
Drive the Retail Client Service Model: - Communicate with clients to provide general problem resolution - Schedule meetings and prepare the meeting review documents for internal review 1-week prior to the scheduled meeting - Attend meetings when necessary - Manage and drive follow-ups from meetings to ensure items are completed - Assist and guide clients with rollovers and distributions - Distribute Newsletter to Retail Clients and maintain contact information list - Send client anniversary, birthday and holiday cards - Serve as liaison between the Product Provider and client to understand client-specific problems and proactively drive client to resolutions - Manage and Drive Offboarding of Retail Clients when necessary
Act as the Paraplanner for Financial Planning Clients - Manage, track, and facilitate the Retail Clients through the Financial Planning process - Perform general data input and management in the Financial Planning software
II. OPERATIONS SERVICES - Maintain all files and customer-relationship management data for Retail Clients - Work with Team to proactively implement and manage ongoing service requirements for Retail clients through Standard Operating Procedures - Maintain Retail Client files, customer-relationship management, and workflows in A360, Monday.com - Assist Advisors with preparation of annual client file audits and personal producer interviews Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience A Bachelor’s Degree or higher (preferably in business or finance) from an accredited four-year college or university; five or more years’ experience in a client and/or account role in the financial or investment industry. Only candidates with experience in the financial services industry will be considered.
Computer Skills Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office. One or more years’ experience using Microsoft Outlook. Applicant should be proficient in working with Windows operating systems and adept at learning new software applications. Successful candidates must be familiar with financial and wealth planning software platforms (e.g., eMoney, A360, and Monday.com).
Language Skills Must possess the ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos; ability to write correspondence; ability to effectively communicate with superiors, vendors, prospects, and clients, and the general public.
Interpersonal Skills Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing, present a professional image at all times, gain the trust and confidence of others, work cooperatively with a variety of individuals, and always project a positive attitude.
Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; ability to deal with problems involving several variables.
CONFIDENTIALITY:
The Client Relationship Coordinator will be exposed to a wide variety of sensitive and privileged financial information and must be able to discern the appropriate manner in which such information must be handled and protect the integrity of such information at all times.
Location : This is an onsite position with a typical work schedule of 8am-5pm, M-F. A varying schedule may apply during peak business needs.
The employee will spend a large portion of his/her time at a desk, although the employee may at times be required to travel to business/office location(s).
