Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Packaging Operator 1 to operate bagging machinery and support packaging operations in a safe and quality-focused environment. The ideal candidate will ensure products are packaged accurately according to weight, labeling, and sealing standards, while also documenting all production processes. This is a physically active role requiring regular lifting and hands-on involvement in the packaging line.
Key Responsibilities Operate the bagging machine to ensure accurate product weights and correct bag placement. Conduct regular weight checks to ensure compliance with product specifications. Verify that bags are sealed properly and that all labels are correct and legible. Hand-pack products into containers or boxes as needed. Complete production documentation accurately, including computer-based entry and reporting. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area. Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs as part of regular job duties.
Required Qualifications Attention to detail and commitment to quality control standards. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Comfortable with basic computer work and documenting production activities. Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs as required. Willingness to undergo and successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in manufacturing, packaging, or warehouse environments. Familiarity with bagging machines or automated packaging equipment. Understanding of basic quality assurance practices.
