Bridal Hair Stylist/Cosmetologist
to be a part of our salon team and continue our iconic legacy. As a Bridal Hair Stylist, you will provide high-quality hair styling services, ensuring an elegant and luxurious experience for every client. Your creativity, precision, and dedication to excellence will help create unforgettable moments for our guests.
Built in 1893, The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee has been a hotel icon for nearly 130 years. As one of the best hotels in Milwaukee and the Midwest, we continue to celebrate a grand tradition of gracious service and impeccable style. The Pfister Hotel has received AAA Four Diamond hotel status for 46 consecutive years. The hotel is one of only 11 properties throughout North America to maintain the AAA Four Diamond designation since the inception of the Diamond Rating program in 1976. What you will be doing: Provide expert hairstyling services, specializing in bridal and special event styling. Consult with clients to create personalized looks that complement their features, attire, and wedding theme. Ensure a nurturing and safe environment for guest relaxation and beauty enhancement. Maintain salon cleanliness and adhere to high sanitation standards as per DSPS protocols. Stay up to date with the latest bridal hair trends and techniques. Perform opening and closing procedures as directed by the Manager and Spa Director. Re-stock salon with appropriate linens, products, and set up for the following day. Assist with inventory levels to ensure stock is maintained at all times. Attend quarterly salon meetings and product knowledge sessions. What we are looking for: A
Currently
Licensed Cosmetologist in the State of Wisconsin . Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of
3+ years of experience
specializing in bridal and special occasion hair styling. Strong skills in
round brush blow dry styles, updos, half up/half down styles, braiding techniques, and incorporating temporary hair extensions . Makeup application is
not required but a plus
and may be utilized. Excellent
communication and organizational skills . Ability to
duplicate requested looks while being flexible with last-minute changes . Professional, positive, and motivating demeanor. Must be willing to attend continued education classes if necessary. Strong
time management skills
before, during, and after services. Ability to
remain calm under pressure
and work effectively within a team. A
professional look book of special occasion hair work
is required. Willingness to
demonstrate skills on 3-5 hair models
as part of the interview process. Must adhere to
Wisconsin Safety & Sanitation laws and regulations (DSPS) . Flexibility to work
days, nights, and weekends (primarily weekends) .
Compensation: This is a
commission-based
