How You'll Contribute: As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing essential administrative and coordination support to the Human Resources Department. This role will work closely with HR Business Partners and team members across departments to ensure efficient onboarding, HRIS management, program support, and overall HR process compliance. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about human resources, dedicated to continuous improvement, and bring excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to the team.

Position Summary:

The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator provides administrative support and coordination duties to the Human Resources Department. The HR Coordinator will support the HR team with duties, including new hire onboarding, HRIS data input and reporting, HR program support, talent and organizational development, and other work as directed.

The HR Coordinator formulates partnerships across EquiTrust business units/divisions and the Human Resources function to gain knowledge and understanding, as well as to deliver value-added service to the HR Team, leadership, and team members that reflect the business objectives of the organization.

What You'll Do: Coordinates, supports, and facilities (with experience) the New Employee Onboarding program for new hires and temp-to-perm conversions. Processes HR changes in the HRIS (UKG) in the areas of new employees, onboarding, position and/or leadership changes, performance management, and terminations. Assists HR Team and leadership with reporting and data extraction as requested. Provides report generation, maintenance, and distribution to the HR Team. Responsible for scanning and filing employment/employee documents into the HRIS system. Assists with the administration and upkeep of HR programs, such as performance management and Pillars. Completes various projects assigned to support the department. This may entail compiling information from HRIS; conducting research and analysis; designing forms, processes, and communication; creating detailed documentation of processes, etc. Assists in the coordination of department/company meetings, training, and events. Maintains working knowledge of all applicable HR policies and procedures, and ensures process compliance Additional Responsibilities

Supports the Human Resources team and/or other departments on an as-needed basis. Willingly takes on additional responsibilities as requested in order to accomplish department and Company objectives.

What You'll Bring:

Education: Bachelor's Degree required.

Experience: 1 year of professional work experience in the Human Resources field (i.e., HRIS, benefits administration, payroll, or recruiting) required. Experience administering payroll, benefits or HRIS systems preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong aptitude and desire to learn the Human Resource body of knowledge. Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook and Excel. Outstanding organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate are must-haves. Professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Self-starter with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and effectively manage time.

Where You'll Work: West Des Moines, IA Office Location: Mostly Off-Site Expected Travel: Travel not required/likely.
