Senior Product Manager, Media Buying & Inventory PlatformTatari is on a mission to revolutionize TV advertising. We work with disruptor brands to grow their business through linear and streaming TV, combining a sophisticated media buying platform with proprietary analytics to automate the TV advertising experience.We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead Tatari’s automated direct IO infrastructure, ensuring media buyer workflows are translated into automation and that our Catalog data layer (inventory and audience data) is structured, accurate, and leveraged effectively. You will operate at the intersection of campaign management, inventory and targeting data, and platform automation, balancing technical ownership with a strong focus on media buyer needs to enable seamless campaign setup, execution, and optimization.Responsibilities:Understand and advocate for media buyersDevelop a deep understanding of how media buyers structure campaigns, target their audience(s), and measure outcomes.Champion buyer requirements in product decisions so campaigns are accurately represented within automated direct IO execution.Translate buyer workflows into platform features that improve usability, accuracy, and efficiency.Inventory and Audience Targeting DataEnsure the Catalog’s inventory and targeting data are structured for operational execution and analytical purposes.Guarantee Catalog data is consistently reflected across downstream systems (campaign management, reporting, optimization tools).Partner with data science to maximize Catalog data for predictive modeling and AI-driven recommendations.Bridge business and technical teamsTranslate complex media buyer needs into clear product requirements, specifications, and acceptance criteria.Collaborate with engineering, data science, and design to ensure requirements are implemented accurately and at scale.Serve as a connector between the commercial side (media buyers, MediaOps) and technical infrastructure teams.Operational EnablementSupport MediaOps and internal teams by ensuring Catalog updates are timely and aligned with evolving workflows.Identify gaps in processes or tools and drive solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.Tooling & DocumentationPromote Catalog tools that enhance data discovery, lineage, and documentation, making data more accessible to both technical and business users.Ensure Data QualityChampion data quality initiatives to ensure Catalog data and business logic are accurate and reliable.Work with engineering and QA to build guardrails and validation into Catalog workflows, reducing errors and ensuring long-term trust.Qualifications5+ years of product management experience in direct, programmatic, or digital advertising.Strong understanding of media buying workflows (campaign setup, targeting, pacing, optimization) and DSP interactions.Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present roadmaps to senior leadership and influence across teams.Customer-focused with experience creating user stories and solutions tied to customer problems; pragmatic, execution-focused.Passionate about tools, automation, and AI-driven innovation while staying pragmatic.Experience partnering with Engineering and Design to address complex problems through user research and product design.Ability to influence without formal authority and secure cross-functional buy-in.Bonus: understanding of advertising operations, experience with data platforms/taxonomies/inventory/targeting models (CTV/streaming preferred), and experience building new products from scratch.BenefitsCompetitive salary, equity compensationHealth insurance coverage for you and your dependentsUnlimited PTO and sick daysMonthly lifestyle spending reimbursements1,000 annual education benefitHybrid RTO of 2 days per week (office-based)At Tatari, we believe in cultivating diverse teams and offering equal opportunities to all.
