Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 18 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of Level 1 trauma experience and current ARRT(CI), RCIS, or RCES certification. Responsibilities Position is in a cardiac catheterization lab within a Level 1 trauma center Patient population includes STEMIs, CTOs, cardiovascular, peripheral, and electrophysiology device cases Duties include scrubbing and monitoring specialized cardiac procedures Shift is 4x10 hours, weekdays 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with some onsite call required in the evenings and weekends Epic EMR experience is required Floating is required within clinical scope to meet facility needs Responsibilities include assisting with cardiovascular, peripheral, and electrophysiology procedures On-call duty includes 1-2 weeknights per week and 1-2 weekends per month as well as potential sick call coverage Candidates will undergo drug screening including a THC panel prior to assignment Pre-hire online training modules must be completed before start Parking is available for approximately $25 per month by sign-up RTO is limited to 5 days per 13-week contract and may not be taken during the first week First-time travelers will not be considered for this position Local candidates within 75 miles are accepted but may have adjusted pay rates Requirements Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a cath lab with Level 1 trauma exposure Current ACLS and BLS certifications from AHA required ARRT(CI) or RCIS or RCES with Colorado Fluoroscopy Operator Registration required; ARRT does not require Colorado Fluoroscopy registration, RCIS/RCES does Proven ability to scrub and monitor for STEMIs, CTOs, and electrophysiology cases Epic EMR experience is required License required if applicable Able to participate in call rotations and float as needed Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID 3011953.
