Position Summary: The Patient Transporter is an integral part of the patient care team providing prompt, courteous, customer-focused service to the patients, visitors, and coworkers of Boston Medical Center. The Patient Transporter is responsible for patient transport within the hospital and for miscellaneous functions as well. He/she contributes to service excellence by fostering collaboration among and between team members as well as other ancillary departments. Schedule: 40 Hours, Days, 7a-3:30p - Sunday through Thursday-Off Fridays and Saturdays Job Requirements: Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent Experience: Previous hospital experience preferred Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Required: BLS/CPR certification required Knowledge and Skills: Ability to read, write, and communicate in English Ability to lift without any limitations Equal Opportunity Employer/Disabled/Veterans According to the FTC, there has been a rise in employment offer scams.
