This role is 100% on-site We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist / Operator to manufacture precision parts from raw stock to finished components. This role focuses on CNC machining but also values experience with traditional machine tools. Key Responsibilities
Set up, program, and operate CNC lathes and mills (Dynapath and Southwest equipment). Manufacture precision parts to exact tolerances (+/-.001” standard, up to +/-.0001” when required). Prep and square raw materials for machining. Select appropriate feeds and speeds for a variety of materials, including stainless steel (304, 440c), aluminum, plastics, and other alloys. Perform in-process inspections using precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gage pins, etc.). Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to ensure quality production. Properly set up machines using parallels, vises, and correct fixturing. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Preferred Skills
Experience with manual machining (mills, lathes, drills) a plus. Knowledge of CAM software (Edgecam / Pathtrace) and AutoCAD a plus. Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materials. Ability to troubleshoot setups and ensure efficient machining processes. Requirements
Proven CNC machining experience with tight tolerance work. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Must supply personal hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
