Responsibilities Work in a hospital-based cardiac catheterization lab with exposure to EP procedures Short-term acute care facility with Level IV trauma designation and 87 staffed beds 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with weekend shifts as needed On-call required for 18-19 days and 2-3 weekends within an 8-week period May float to outpatient cath lab or to other units or affiliate hospitals based on skill set and census needs Patient populations include those undergoing cardiac catheterizations and electrophysiology studies Uses Cerner for charting; prior Cerner experience preferred Primary responsibilities include assisting with cardiac catheterizations, EP procedures, and structural heart cases Scrubs are provided in the cath lab First-time travelers are accepted for this role Return travelers are not eligible if a previous contract was canceled within 10 days of start at this health system Facility manager must approve requested time off beyond 5 days or any time off during holidays or the first week of assignment Holiday coverage required, with expectation to work 2 out of 3 major holidays Free on-site parking available Orientation modules are completed during the first week All candidates must adhere to quality and patient safety standards Requirements Minimum of 2 years cath lab experience required BLS, ACLS, and ARRT certifications required EP, Structural Heart, MacLab, Xper, and Cerner experience preferred Must be comfortable floating between units and adapting to various procedural settings License required if applicable Two professional references required, with one from your most recent employer within 1 year Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID 3006020.
