Shipping & Receiving Clerk
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled shipping & receiving r to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring that materials are handled efficiently and safely. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, material picking, and forklift operation--standing up and sitting down. Responsibilities: Handle materials efficiently and safely within the manufacturing process. Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Perform shipping and receiving duties accurately and timely. Engage in material picking and packing activities. Conduct cycle counting and maintain inventory accuracy. Utilize RF scanners for warehouse management tasks. Essential Skills: At least 6 months of warehouse experience within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in materials handling techniques, including heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds). Strong mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment operation. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely, including forklifts and pallet jacks. Knowledge of shipping & receiving processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience with warehouse management systems is advantageous. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
