Job Opportunity: Estimating Department Support
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with strong administrative skills and experience using Accubid software to support our clients' estimating department. This role bridges administrative responsibilities with estimator support, making it an excellent opportunity for someone with both organizational and technical skills in the electrical industry. Schedule - 7:30a-4p Pay- $17+ DOE Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and estimating support to the electrical estimating team. Utilize Accubid software to input data, generate take-offs, and assist with preparing bid proposals. Organize, maintain, and track project documentation, including drawings, bid documents, and contracts. Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and bid summaries. Conduct quantity take-offs and ensure accuracy in calculations and pricing. Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for quotes and pricing information. Manage project files, schedules, and deadlines to ensure timely completion of bids. Support the team with reporting, spreadsheets, and data entry related to estimating and project management. Perform other administrative duties as assigned to ensure smooth department operations. Qualifications:
2+ years of administrative experience in the construction or electrical industry (preferred). Proficiency in Accubid estimating software is required. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with team members, vendors, and clients.
